In-hand Pony Classes
- Class 13. Shown in-hand pony not exceeding 128cm, filly or gelding
- Class 14. Shown in-hand pony not exceeding 138cm, filly or gelding
- Class 15. Shown in-hand pony not exceeding 148cm, filly or gelding
- Class 16. Purebred Welsh pony class, any age, mare or gelding
- Class 17. Cob pony not to exceed 148cm, any age, any colour, mare or gelding
Free Class – Young Handler: Leader must be 6–12 years old. Ponies must be 4 years or older.
Strictly no ringside assistance – Prizes in kind.
In-hand Championship
Open to all 1st prize winners of the in-hand classes.
Young Handler class not included.
Winner: Bernie Gately Perpetual Cup, sash, rosette & €40.
Reserve Champion: Sash, rosette & €30.
Registered Connemara Classes
- Class 18. Connemara brood mare and foal judged as a unit
- Class 19. Connemara yearling filly or colt
- Class 20. Connemara 2 & 3-year-old colt/gelding
- Class 21. Connemara 2 & 3-year-old filly
- Class 22. Connemara over-height class for mares or geldings 4 years and over
Champion Connemara Pony: Open to all 1st prize winners of Connemara classes.
Prizes: Trophy, sash and rosette.

Ridden Hunter Classes
Prizes: 1st: €100, 2nd: €75, 3rd: €50 (unless otherwise stated)

- Class 23. Best ridden cob over 148cm, mare/gelding 4 years and over. Rider must be over 16 years on 1st January.
- Class 24. Best small hunter not exceeding 158cm, mare/gelding 4 years and over.
- Class 25. Best ridden hunter exceeding 158cm, mare/gelding 4 years and over.

- Class 26. Lead Rein Ponies – kindly sponsored by the Crosby Hanley Family. Ponies 4 years and over, not to exceed 133cm. Riders must be strictly over 4 and no older than 8 years. Winner will receive the Crosby Hanley Cup.
- Class 27. Family Lead Rein – Ponies 4 years and over, not to exceed 133cm. Riders must be over 4 and no older than 8 years. All types and colours eligible.
- Class 28. First Ridden Ponies – Ponies not to exceed 138cm. Rider under 12 years. May be asked to canter and must ride unaided.
- Class 29. Family Pony – not to exceed 148cm. Open to mares/geldings.
- Class 30. Hunting Pony/Cob – not to exceed 153cm. Rider must be over 10 and under 18 years.
- Class 31. Ridden Connemara Pony – Riders 16 years and under. Open to mares/geldings.
- Class 32. Ridden Connemara Pony – Riders 16 years and over. Open to mares/geldings.
